>, a major Chinese dairy company, has announced its net profit attributable to shareholders decreased 6.67% YoY to RMB 762 million in the first half of this year.
According to a statement filed with Shanghai Stock Exchange
, basic earnings per share for the period were RMB 0.48, down 5.88% from a year earlier.
From January to Jun this year, the dairy company’s operation revenue increased 11.8% YoY to RMB 21.18 billion.
Revenue from milk and dairy products business rose 11.31% YoY to RMB 20.77 billion in the six-month period, while that from mixed feed manufacturing surged 49.2% YoY to RMB 316.03 million.
The company's investment income was RMB 15.43 million during the period, less than RMB 218 million it realized in the same period of 2011.
