Earnings per share were 63.2 HK cents in the period, and an interim dividend of 6 HK cents was proposed.
The company's turnover climbed 6.6% YoY to RMB 30.94 billion in the first six months.
China Resources Power produced 81.55 terawatt hours of electricity in the period, 0.7% less than in the corresponding period of 2011. The company's electricity sales fell 0.5% YoY to 76.59 TWhs in H1.
