>, the country's largest aluminum producer, has announced it suffered a net loss of RMB 3.25 billion in the first half of this year, compared with a net profit of RMB 413 million it realized in the same period of last year.
Basic loss per share for the period was RMB 0.24, while its basic earnings per share for the first half of 2011 were RMB 0.03.
From January to July 2012, the Chinese aluminum producer saw its operation revenue rose 9% YoY to RMB 71.7 billion.
The company earlier reported that it suffered a net loss of RMB 1.09 billion in the first quarter of this year, due to declining sales and increased raw materials costs, China Knowledge reported earlier.
