>, one of the largest consumer electronics companies in the world, has said that its sales of handsets and other products fell 18% YoY to 2.95 million units in July this year.
Last month, sales in the Chinese market were 473,100 units and sales in overseas markets reached 2.48 million units. The company saw its smartphone sales surge 295% YoY to 569,000 units in July, which accounted for 19% of its total sales.
In the first seven months of this year, TCL Communication's sales volume of handsets and other products dropped 6% YoY to 21.57million units, including 2.77 million smartphones, 790% more than in the same period of last year.
Sales volume in China surged 51% YoY to 3.31 million units from January to July, and sales volume in overseas markets was 18.26 million units.
