>, one of the leading wine enterprises in China, announced that its net profit attributable to shareholders increased 5.04% YoY to RMB 921 million in the first half of this year.
According to a statement filed with Shenzhen Stock Exchange
, basic earnings per share for the period were RMB 1.34, 19.28% less than it realized in the same period of 2011.
From January to June, the company saw its operation revenue decreased 2.51% from a year earlier to RMB 3.01 billion.
Revenue from its wine business reached RMB 2.43 billion, 5.4% lower than a year earlier, while the sales from brandy and champagne business grew 24.63% and 4.67% YoY to RMB 485.3 million and RMB 19.27 million, respectively.
Meanwhile, the coastal areas generated RMB 2.55 billion in operation revenue, a drop of 3.34% YoY.
