>, China's largest listed home appliance producer, expects its net profit attributable to shareholders to increase between 19% and 23% YoY in the first half of 2012.
In the corresponding period of 2011, the company's net profit reached RMB 1.53 billion and its earnings per share were RMB 0.57.
In a statement filed with Shanghai Stock Exchange
, the home appliance producer said the increase of net profit was mainly due to the good sales of its white goods.
In 2011, Qingdao Haier saw its net profit rise 20.09% YoY to RMB 2.69 billion and it dominated the global whit goods market for the third consecutive year with a market share of 7.8%.
