>, China's top ultra-premium traditional liquor maker, saw its liquor output reach 42,000 metric tons including 24,000 metric tons of Moutai spirit, rose 15.3% from a year earlier, source reported.
Kweichow Moutai aims to produce 33,000 metric tons of Moutai spirit this year and to realize RMB 35 billion in sales revenue, said Yuan Renguo, CEO of Kweichow Moutai.
The company had set up 31 self-run stores in China to stabilize terminal sales price, Yuan added.
According to Kweichow Moutai's development plan, its annual output capacity of liquor will reach 70,000 metric tons including 45,000 metric tons of Moutai spirit by 2015, while its sales revenue aims to hit RMB 80 billion.
In the first half of this year, the traditional liquor maker realized RMB 17.8 billion in sales revenue, 38% more than it realized in the same period of 2011.
