>, Asia's largest oil refiner, produced 13.69 million metric tons of crude oil in the first half of this year, 0.9% more than in the same period of last year.
The oilfield's daily crude oil output was 551,000 barrels during the period, said Sinopec in a statement on Monday.
Shengli Oil Field, the country's second-largest oilfield, aims to produce 27.5 million metric tons of crude oil this year, 160,000 metric tons more than in 2011. The oilfield plans to increase its annual output to 28.4 million metric tons by 2015.
In the first half, Shengli Oil Field added 70 million metric tons of proven oil reserves.
Daqing Oil Field, which is the largest oilfield in China and is operated by the country's largest oil and gas producer, PetroChina<601857
>, saw its crude oil output reach 20 million metric tons in H1 of this year. The oilfield also produced 1.76 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the period.
