Jul. 10, 2012 (China Knowledge) - BMW AG, the world's largest premium car maker, said yesterday that its sales of BMW and Mimi vehicles in mainland China rose 30.7% YoY to 158,956 units in the first half of this year, sources reported.
In June, BMW’s sales in mainland China rose 13.1% YoY to 23,930 units.
Sales of BMW cars grew 30.4% YoY to 147,600 units in the first six months, and sales of Mini brand vehicles jumped 34.5% YoY to 11,356 units in the period.
Including sales in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, the company’s total sales of BMW and Mini vehicles in Greater China reached 168,081 units in the first half, 28.6% more than in the same period of last year.
