>, the country's largest IT products distributor and IT services provider, announced yesterday that its net profit attributable to shareholders increased 23.8% YoY to HK$1.25 billion in the fiscal year ended Mar. 31, 2012.
According to a statement filed with Hong Kong Stock Exchange
, the company saw its turnover for the fiscal year surged 23.79% than a year earlier to HK$70.32 billion including HK$37.52 billion from its distribution business, up 16.32% YoY.
Revenue from the systems business segment climbed 26.5% YoY to HK$17.49 billion, while that of the supply chain services segment skyrocketed 58.48% YoY to HK$7.43 billion.
The services business segment contributed revenue of HK$7.89 billion, 30.62% more than it realized in the last fiscal year.
Guo Wei, Chairman of Digital China, said that the company will focus on the development of its "Smart City" strategy in the next fiscal year.
