Hyundai Motor, a joint venture established by Hyundai Motor and Beijing
Automotive Industry Holding Co Ltd, will recall 97,452 units of Elantra in China from July 10 due to the airbag defects, said the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine
in a statement published on its website.
said that the affected Elantra autos were manufactured between March 16, 2008 and January 15, 2010.
