's China's Cloud Valley announced it had inked an agreement with Intel Corp, the world's largest chip maker, to jointly develop and expand China's clouding computing market.
According to the agreement, both companies will each leverage their own advantages in technologies to promote the cloud computing market and attract investments for the industry.
Edward Tian, founder of China's Cloud Valley, said that the cooperation with Intel could accelerate the process in breakthrough innovations the cloud computing industry.
With an initial investment of RMB 600 million, China's Cloud Valley located in Beijing E-Town
, a triple-A rated industry park
, since August 2010, has attracted 19 large IT enterprises as well as 20 branch offices with over 1,000 employees. It has become the demonstrative base of Beijing
government initiative named: 'Fortune Cloud Fund project'.
In December 2010, E-Town
's Cloud Valley introduced China's first cloud server center, marking the country's major milestone in establishing in the cloud computing field, China Knowledge reported earlier
