May. 17, 2012 (China Knowledge) – McDonald's Corp, one of the world's leading fast-food restaurant operators, announced it will set recruitment area in all of its restaurants in China
on May 20, and the company aims to recruit 70,000 employees in China this year.
McDonald's will provide a series of classroom training and in-service training for its employees, and the company has numerous employee activities and motivation system, said Lin Huirong, chief staff officer of McDonald's China.
Last year, the fast food restaurant operators invested over RMB 35 million in staff training and development, and more than 10,000 employees were promoted in McDonald's China.
As of today, the U.S. Company operates more than 1,400 restaurants in China with total employees of over 80,000 people.
China has become McDonald's third largest market. In 2012, the company will increase 50% of the total investment to set up more drive-thru restaurants and dessert pavilions, and extend the service time to increase its sales revenue, said ZengQishan, CEO of McDonald's China.
The company expects to have about 2,000 restaurants in China by 2013.
