May. 8, 2012 (China Knowledge) - BMW AG, the world's largest premium car maker, said yesterday that its sales in China
rose 31% year on year 27,197 units last month, sources reported.
In the first four months of this year, BMW saw its China
sales rise 35% year on year to 107,211 units.
Sales of BMW cars grew 30% year on year to 25,292 units in April, taking the total sales of BMW vehicles in the first four months to 100,300 units, 35% more than in the same period of 2011.
In 2011, BMW sold 232,586 BMW and Mini models in China
, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 37.6% from 168,998 vehicles, according to an earlier report
from China Knowledge.
