The net addition of 3G users for March was more than 2.83 million in February. At the end of last month, the company's 3G users had increased to 48.86 million.

China Unicom also saw more new 2G users last month in which the number of 2G users increased by 554,000 to about 160.6 million.
Last month, the number of fixed-line phone users continued downward trend, declining 55,000 to 92.35 million, while the number of broadband users increased by 933,000 to 58.29 million.
