Apr. 9, 2012 (China Knowledge) – Honda Motor Co, a major Japanese carmaker, said its joint ventures in China sold 65,416 vehicles in the country in March this year, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 11.6%.

Automobile Group Co, saw its auto sales for last month reached 35,637 units, up 9.3% year on year. While another joint venture Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co sold 29,779 units, 14.5% more than in the same month of 2011.
Last month, the sales of its Honda CR-V ranked first with 21,124 units, followed by Honda Accord with 12,981 units and Honda City with 10,519 units.
In the first quarter of 2012, Honda saw its China sales totaled 148,082 vehicles, 10.6% lower than the same period of last year.
