>, the country's largest wind-power producer, announced today that its net profit jumped 31% year on year to RMB 2.64 billion last year.
Earnings per share were RMB 0.35 in 2011, and the company proposed a final dividend of 6.9 RMB cents.
The Hong Kong-listed
company saw its revenue grow 20.4% year on year to RMB 15.37 billion last year.
The company's electricity output increased to 25.27 terawatt hours (TWh) last year, of which 13.36 TWhs was generated by wind farms, up 32.30% year on year. Thermal power output climbed 3.49% from the previous year to 11.75 TWhs in 2011.
China Longyuan Power saw 38 wind farms with total installed capacity of 2.04 gigawatt (GW) and three solar power plants with installed capacity of 58 megawatt (MW) start operation. As of the end of last year, total installed power capacity under the group's control had hit 10.57 MW, of which 8.60 MW was wind power.
