, announced yesterday that its net profit rose 60% year on year or 21% quarter on quarter to US$75.4 million in the fourth quarter, boosted by higher LCD display and poster frame network revenues.
Earnings per American depositary share were 55 US cents, up from 33 US cents in the same period of the previous year.
The company's revenue soared 61% year on year or 22% quarter on quarter to US$256.4 million in the period.
The LCD display network segment, the firm's largest revenue contributor, saw sales surge 48% year on year to US$150.5 million in the quarter, and the poster frame network segment saw its revenue reach US$70.6 million, up 62% year on year.
Focus Media's gross profit margin increase to 68.4% in the quarter from 59.2% in the corresponding period of 2010.
