, saw its overseas sales surge 56.7% year on year to 11035 units in February, sources reported.
Jin Yibo, a company spokesman, 55.5% of the cars sold overseas were made in the Chinese automaker's overseas production centers.
Meanwhile, Chery saw the proportion of its quality models, including A3 and Tiggo, in overseas sales further rise to 73.7%.
Jin expected that the firm's overseas sales in 2012 would account for more than 25% of its total.
In January, the company exported 11,823 vehicles, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 21.2% or a sequential increase of 25.1%, China Knowledge reported earlier
