Feb. 22, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Lifan Group became China's top motorcycle seller in January with export value amounting to US$31.97 million, according to a report of a survey on 80 major Chinese motorcycle firms made by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.Guangzhou
Dayang Motorcycle Co Ltd ranked second with an export value of US$30.3 million, followed by Sundiro Honda Motorcycle Co Ltd’s US$28.96 million, Chongqing
Longxin Engine Co Ltd’s US$24.88 million and Jiangmen
Dachangjiang Group Co Ltd’s US$23.18 million.
The export value of Chongqing
Hangtian Bashan Motorcycle Manufacturing Co Ltd was US$18.78 million, Wuyang-Honda Motors’s US$16.2 million, Chongqing
Yinxiang Motorcycle (Group) Co Ltd’s US$16.1 million, Guangzhou
Zongshen Motorcycle Industrial Co’s US$15.44 million and Jianshe Motorcycles’s US$13.5 million.
The top ten motorcycle firms' total export value last month reached US$219 million, accounting for 56.15% of the total.
In terms of export volume, Lifan also led the sales with 51,900 motorcycles exported last month, followed by Chongqing
Yinxiang Motorcycle and Chongqing
Longxin Engine each with 48,400 units.
