Tide Pharmaceutical and other well-known domestic and foreign enterprises were rewarded RMB 64 million in total.
The "Top 50 Taxpayers' Award" which began in 2007, was in its fifth year. Compared with previous years, this year's awards display unique characteristics.
First, the geographical coverage has extended, for the first time, to the Daxing District, which also increase the amount for the prize money. Secondly, thirteen enterprises in the Daxing District entered two special category of award in the list this year. A "Special Contribution Award" was created for qualifiers that contribute more than RMB 20 million in tax.
This year's new entrants of the awards include companies from new industries and businesses that are involved in e-commerce, the cultural and creativity industries.
