Last month, China Coal Energy's coke output amounted to 170,000 metric tons, 13.3% more than in January 2011.
The company sold 10.34 million metric tons of coal in January 2012, representing a year-on-year increase of 13.8%. Of the total sales, 8.95 million metric tons of self-produced coal was sold in the domestic market, soaring 28.2% from a year earlier, while domestic coal exports surged 33.3% year on year to 40,000 metric tons.
Last month, China Coal Energy's coal import plunged 83.8% year on year to 60,000 metric tons.
