's auto sales, including passenger and commercial vehicles, reached 1.39 million units in January this year, reflecting a year-on-year decline of 26.39% or a month-on-month decline of 17.75%, according to China
Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
The passenger vehicle sales stood at 1.05 million units last month, down 23.81% year on year or 15.22% month on month. China
saw the sales of passenger vehicles with 1.6L engine displacement and below reach 560,800 units, representing a year-on-year decline of 27.64% and a decrease of 14.88% from the previous month.
The country's auto output was 1.30 million units in January, down 27.47% year on year or 23.20% month on month. The figure comprised 1.05 million passenger vehicles and 245,900 commercial vehicles.
