Feb. 6, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China South Publishing & Media<601098>, which is principally engaged in the publishing, distribution, newspaper and new media operation, has said that it expects its net profit to grow 35.09% year on year to RMB 802 million in 2011.
The company said in a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange
that basic earnings per share were RMB 0.45 last year.
The company's unaudited operating revenue jumped 22.98% year on year to RMB 5.86 billion.
In the first three quarters of 2011, the company's net profit jumped 21.61% year on year to RMB 541.21 million and its core business revenue grew 23.51% to RMB 3.81 billion.
In October last year, the Communist Party of China approved a decision on extending the reform of China's cultural system and promoting the development of the cultural industry, which is emerging as an important part of the country's comprehensive competitiveness in the world.
