Province reaped an after-tax profit of RMB 51.46 billion in 2011, RMB 10.34 billion or 25.15% more than in 2010, the sources reported.
At the end of December last year, the city's banking industry had total assets of RMB 3.85 trillion, reflecting an increase of RMB 368.18 billion or 10.56% from the year 2010.
In 2011, the city's new loans increased by RMB 50.27 billion to RMB 252.26 billion. The balance of RMB and foreign currency loans at banking financial institutions in Shenzhen
had risen 15.09% year on year to RMB 1.92 trillion.
The outstanding RMB and foreign currency deposits in banking financial institutions had grown about 14.83% year on year to RMB 2.51 trillion at the end of last year.
