Wuling Motors Co, aims to sell around 1.35 million vehicles this year.
In 2011, the JV, which specializes in truck and van development, sold more than 1.3 million autos with Wuling vehicle's share reaching 45.3% in China's van market last year.
Performance of the JV's Baojun models showed strong momentum with sales exceeding 8,000 units in December 2011.
General Motor's China sales for last year amounted to 1.3 million units with the JV, SAIC-GM-Wuling, and 1.23 million units with another JV Shanghai
GM, said a person familiar with the matter.
SAIC-GM-Wuling ranked first in the top ten passenger vehicle maker list released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers with sales of 107,400 units for the December in 2011, followed by Shanghai
Volkswagen Automotive Co Ltd and FAW Volkswagen, China Knowledge reported earlier
