Last year, the combined sales volume of the ten automakers amounted to 6.47 million units, accounting for 64% of the total sedan sales in the country.
Buick Excel was China's best-selling sedan model in 2011, with sales of 253,500 units, followed by Volkswagen Lavida with 247,500 units and Chevrolet Cruze with 217,900 units, according to a separate report from the CAAM.
