>, the country's second-largest coal miner by revenue, produced 8.65 million metric tons of commercial coal in December last year, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 11.5%, according to a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange

The company sold 12.47 million metric tons of coal in December, representing a robust year-on-year increase of 42%.
In the whole of 2011, China Coal Energy produced 102.79 million metric tons of commercial coal, 8.9% more than that in the previous year.
The company's coal sales reached 133 million metric tons, increasing 13.8% from 2010.
China Coal Energy said earlier it expected its net profit to surged 36.09% year on year to RMB 10.30 billion in 2011.
