Province, said yesterday that it expected its net profit in 2011 to grow 40.90% year on year to RMB 6.19 billion.
The company said in a statement that basic earnings per share were RMB 1.63 last year, up 40.85% from 2010.
Wuliangye Yibin saw its unaudited operating revnue surge 30.14% year on year to RMB 20.23 billion in 2011, boosted by increases in both sales volume and prices.
The company in September last year raised the ex-factory price of its Wuliangye-branded liquor by 20% to 30%, which would have positive impact on its earnings in 2011.
The company earlier reported a net profit of RMB 4.82 billion for the first nine months of 2011, reflecting a year-on-year increaser of 41.91%.
