Sales revenue for last year increased 9% from two years earlier to approximately RMB 400 billion.
Analysts said Dongfeng Auto's domestic market shares amounted to 16.51% in 2011, 1.43 percentage points higher than that in 2010.
A joint venture between Dongfeng Auto and Japanese automaker Nissan Motor Corp sold 809,000 vehicles in 2011, including 77,000 vehicles in December alone.
Last month, sales of the Teana models reached 16,000 units, Sunny 16,000 units, Tiida Qida 12,000 units and Qashqai 11,000 units respectively.
Sales of the Tianlong and Tianjin
trucks for December 2011 reached 97,000 units and 48,000 units, respectively.
