>, said yesterday that its auto sales rose 18.5% year on year to 1.23 million units in 2011, reflecting the highest level ever recorded among domestic passenger vehicle makers.
The company said in a statement published in its website that its sales of Buick vehicles increased 17.4% year on year to 645,537 units last year.
The automaker saw its sales of Chevrolet vehicles reach 555,991 units, 17.9% more than that in 2010.
The company delivered 30,008 Cadillac vehicles last year, representing a robust growth of 72.8% year on year.
