The company maintained its position as the biggest air carrier in China in terms of passenger volume for the 33th consecutive year.
Last year, the Chinese air carrier's cargo and mail throughput grew 1.2% year on year to 1.13 million metric tons.
China Southern Airlines added 55 airplanes including two A380 planes in 2011 and expected to receive another two A380 planes this year. So far, the company has a fleet size of 444, ranking first in Asia and sixth in the world, with daily flights of 1,930 routes to 191 destinations.
