Aug. 14, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Evergrande Real Estate Group Ltd<3333>, a large Chinese property developer, has announced its contractual sales to drop 5.29% from a year earlier to RMB 8.24 billion in Jul this year.

The figure was 0.24% more than RMB 8.22 billion it realized in Jun 2012.

In Jul, the property developer's contractual sales sold-area hit 1.33 million square meters, 2.71% less than a month earlier. The average contractual sales price for the month was RMB 6,213.

In the first seven months of this year, the real estate developer's contractual sales amounted to RMB 43.28 billion, accounting for 54.1% of its annual sales target.

Meanwhile, its contractual sales area for the period totaled 7.1 million sq m with an average contractual sales price of RMB 6,100, sources reported.
