Beijing saw the average price of second-hand properties reach RMB 22,648 per square meter in October, reflecting an increase of 4.06% month on month or 49.31% year on year, sources reported.
In the city's eight major districts, the second-hand properties' average price for last month was RMB 24,614 per sq m, up 3.7% month on month.
The average price reached RMB 31,781 per sq m in Dongcheng District, RMB 33,478 per sq m in Xicheng District, RMB 29,449 per sq m in Chongwen District, RMB 26,278 per sq m in Xuanwu District, RMB 22,883 per sq m in Chaoyang District, RMB 27,739 per sq m in Haidian District, RMB 21,468 per sq m in Fengtai District and RMB 20,086 per sq m in Shijingshan District.
In October, Beijing sold 14,162 second-hand properties, an amount 14.4% less than in September.
According to China's National Bureau of Statistics, the second-hand properties' prices in Beijing swelled 4.8% year on year in September, and the growth was 0.1 percentage point higher than in August.
