Jul. 30, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Beijing Benz Automotive Co Ltd, a joint venture established by Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co or BAIC and German auto giant Daimler AG, saw its monthly output in June increased 95% from a year earlier and exceeded 10,000 units for the second consecutive month.

Last month, the company's auto sales skyrocketed 104% YoY and reached a record high of over 10,000 units.

In the second quarter of this year, Beijing Benz saw its auto output surged 72.45% YoY, while its auto sales for the three-month period soared 83.49% than it realized in the same period of 2011.

In 2005, Beijing Benz Automotive Co was formally established in Beijing E-Town, a triple-A rated industrial park. As one of the four-pillars industry in the park, the industrial park has been working on the development of automobile industry cluster, and Beijing Benz has become a leading enterprise and has achieved excellent growth momentum.

In 2012, Beijing Benz has introduced a series of new models comprising E300L deluxe edition, 2012 E-class long-wheelbase edition and GLK model. The automaker is accelerating its marketing network with current number of dealers covered in more than 100 cities.
