Beijing E-Town, a
triple-A rated industrial park, recently signed four service trade projects during the
Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services or CIFTIS with a total contractual value of RMB 13.98 billion, sources reported.
The projects consist of Rui-Cloud Computing's R&D center, Yonghui Super e-commerce flagship store and JoinTown's online trading platform.
With the largest investment of RMB 12.2 billion, Rui-Cloud Computing's R&D center will house in a planned construction area of 2 million square meters, and will set up a cloud computing technology R&D area, a cloud computing service operation center, an international business unit, a cross-straits cooperation enterprise, an enterprise incubation base and cloud computing service provider in
Beijing E-Town's China Cloud Computing Valley.
China Cloud Computing Valley which was set up in
E-Town last September aims to become China's largest cloud computing technology research and development center, and to be the largest cloud computing operation and value-added service provider. It is also equipped with the capability to be China's largest cloud computing system equipment manufacturing base. Many large IT and internet companies such as Baidu, CICC and KDDI had set their data center in the park.
Once fully constructed, China Cloud Computing Valley could hold about 500 cloud computing companies. By the end of 2015, it could attract 30,000 employees and realize RMB 100 billion in annual output value.
