Beijing E-Town, a
triple-A rated industrial park, last week officially kicked off the construction of Baohua International Education Park in the
development area in an effort to upgrade its education services.
The education park, located by the Liangshui River, covers a land area of 178 Mu and will have gross floor area of 60,000 square meters in the first phase that is expected to start operation in 2013 with a capacity of 3,200 students.
The park, the first such large education park established by
Hong Kong-based Yew Wah Education Management Co, comprises three parts: Yaohua International Education School targeting Chinese students, Yaozhong International Education School targeting foreign students and an international conference center for international academic and cultural exchanges. Yaohua and Yaozhong schools will provide integrated education services ranging from kindergartens to pre-universities, lecturing on the essences from both Eastern and Western culture.
The education park, with the highest standards of international school established in
E-Town so far, will help the area create an internationalized and high-end education environment to support the development of advanced industries and top talent agglomeration.
Since early 1990s, Yew Wah Education Management Co has set up international schools in China. The company currently runs 17 schools worldwide.
