Dec. 14, 2010 (China Knowledge) - Beijing Economic-technological Development Area, or BDA, recently established three intellectual property innovation unions on cloud computing, diagnostic reagent and high-tech services of the steel industry.

The three industrial sectors are strong in independent innovation ability and have prominent advantage in intellectual property. The union members, which are all powerful high-tech enterprises, will further improve their innovation and application ability on intellectual property through cooperation and more efficient application on intellectual property system.

The union members will also share and optimize resources in the same industry, complement each other's advantages, improve competitive strength and boost regional economic development.

The establishment of the three intellectual property innovation unions has set up an example to other industry sectors in BDA, boosting technical innovation and accelerating the brand building of Beijing-innovated industrial products.
