Aug. 17, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Chery Automobile Co Ltd, the largest private automaker in China, has announced its auto exports rose 26.1% from a year earlier to 112,014 units in the first seven months of this year.
In the first half of this year, the company's auto export accounted for one third of domestic automaker's total.
Jin Yibo, spokesman of Chery Automobile, says the company can completely realize its annual export target of 170,000 units this year.
Last year, the Chinese automaker saw its auto export reach 160,200 units and became the largest auto exporter in the country.
At present, Chery has 16 overseas manufacturing plants as well as 1,153 overseas distributors.
