
Jul. 9, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Nissan Motor Co, Japan's No. 2 automaker by volume after Toyota Motor Corp, announced that its auto sales in China rose 10.3% from a year earlier to 119,200 units last month.
The growth rate was 9.8 percentage points lower than it realized in May 2012.
From January to June 2012, the automaker's China sales amounted to 678,000 units, reflecting a Y-o-Y increase of 14%.

600006> and Japan's Nissan Motor Co, sold 86,400 units in China last month, leading its total sales in the first half of 2012 to 454,800 units, up 21.7% YoY.
In 2011, the Japanese automaker saw its auto sales in China grew 21.9% YoY to reach a record high of 1.24 million units, source reported.
