0168>, a major beer brewery in China, has announced yesterday that its net profit climbed 1.77% YoY to RMB 1.01 billion in the first half of this year.
Basic earnings per share were RMB 0.75 during the period, said the company in its interim report.
The beer maker saw its operating revenue rise 11.2% YoY to RM 13.41 billion in the first six months.
Tsingtao Brewery sold 4.18 million kiloliters of beer in H1, 11.2% more than in the corresponding period of 2011. The figure included 2.2 million kiloliters of Tsingtao-branded beer, reflecting a growth of 8.2% YoY.
The company said that it plans to increase its beer sales to 10 million kiloliters in 2014.
