Guangdong province, suffered US$650,000 in net loss attributable to shareholders in the first quarter of this year, compared with a net profit attributable to shareholders of US$5,000 in the same quarter of 2011.
From January to March, the Nasdaq-listed company's operation revenue reached US$10.7 million, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 13.8% but declined 13% quarter on quarter.
For the first quarter of 2012, the company saw its basic and diluted loss per American Depositary Share at US$0.01.
As of Mar. 31, 2012, the company had US$33.8 million in cash and US$ 187.8 million in convertible securities.
Actions Semiconductor expects its operation revenue to reach between US$12 million and US$ 13 million with a gross profit of 36% in the second quarter of this year.
