Jul. 19, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Inotera Memories, a joint venture between Nanya Technology Co and Micron Technology Inc, announced yesterday that it suffered a net loss of NT$2.98 billion or US$99 million in the three-month ended June 30.
The net loss for last quarter was narrower than net loss of NT$3.91 it realized in the same period of last year.
The improvement of the company's cost structure narrowed the net loss last quarter but it still have high fixed costs, said the JV.
In the second quarter of this year, Inotera Memories realized NT$9.56 billion in operating revenue, 5.9% less than NT$10.16 billion it realized in the corresponding period of 2011.
