Jul. 10, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Beiqi Foton Motor Co Ltd<600166>, China's largest commercial vehicle producer in China, has said that its auto sales fell 8.79% YoY or 7.92% MoM to 46,500 units in June this year.

Last month, the company's sales of medium- and heavy-duty trucks plunged 25.42% YoY to 6853 units, while its sales of engines rose 32.25% YoY to 11,400 units.

In the first half of this year, the company’s auto sales amounted to 332,000 units, 7.3% less than in the same period of last year, and its auto output dropped 4.4% YoY to 317,800 units.

Sales engines surged 24.8% YoY to 74,300 units in the first six months.
