600150>, a unit of the country's biggest shipbuilder China State Shipbuilding Corp or CSSC, announced yesterday that its net profit dropped 13.65% year on year to RMB 2.25 billion last year.
Earnings per share were RMB 2.12 in 2011, and the company proposed a dividend of RMB 3 per ten shares.
The company's operating revenue fell 3.87% year on year to RMB 28.70 billion last year, of which RMB 22.37 billion was from shipbuilding segment and RMB 3.06 billion from diesel engine segment.
China State Shipbuilding received RMB 11.55 billion of orders in the year. As of the end of 2011, the company's outstanding ship orders had reached 13.98 million deadweight tons.
