Apr. 12, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Skyworth Digital Holdings Ltd<0751>, one of the top three TV manufacturers in China, sold 9.25 million TVs in the fiscal year ended Mar. 31, 2012, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 16%, according to a statement filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

In the domestic market, the company's TV sales increased 10% year on year to 7.02 million units, including 7.00 million flat panel TVs, up 12% from the previous fiscal year. The sales of LED LCD TVs soared 165% year on year to 4.13 million units in China, while the sales of CRT TVs plunged 89% to 15,200 units.

In the overseas market, Skyworth Digital saw flat TV sales reach 2.23 million units in the period, up 40% year on year. Of the total, flat panel TV sales stood at 1.06 million units, 125% more than in the previous fiscal year.
 
Sales revenue of the TV manufacturer for the year grew 17% year on year. The firm's TV sales revenue growth was 14% in the domestic market and 65% in the international market.
