Nov. 26, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd<0293>, the largest airline in Hong Kong, yesterday obtained approval from the Civil Aviation Department to hike passenger fuel surcharges by 6% in December.
The fuel surcharge for short-haul flights will be increased to HK$75 from HK$71, while that for long-haul flights will rise to HK$348 from HK$328.
