Hang Seng Index opens 54 points higher on Thu

Nov. 19, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Hong Kong stocks rose on Thursday morning, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index opening 54 points higher at 22,894. The Hang Seng China Enterprise Index, which tracks the overall performance of 43 mainland Chinese state-owned enterprises on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, opened 8 points higher at 13,695.
