CNOOC suspends production at BZ25-1 oil field in Bohai Bay

Nov. 16, 2009 (China Knowledge) - CNOOC Ltd<0883><CEO>, a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corp, on Thursday announced that it halted the production at its BZ25-1 oil field in Bohai Bay on Nov. 10 after being hit by strong winds, according a statement filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The BZ25-1 field, which is 83.8%-held by CNOOC and 16.2%-held by U.S.-based Chevron,
