Eddy Fong reappointed as SFC chairman

Oct. 19, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Financial Secretary John Tsang of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region announced on Friday that Eddy Fong has been reappointed Chairman of the Securities & Futures Commission. The reappointment will be effective for another two years from Oct. 20, 2009 to Oct. 19, 2011. Mr Fong has led the SFC through the global financial crisis and fostered the comm
